This video is about a group of scientists that are working on a way of treating frogs in Cusuco National Park in Honduras. The population of frogs here is declining rapidly due to a disease caused by the chytrid fungus. This fungus has spread worlwide and is causing hundreds of amphibian species to become endagered or even extinct. Some frogs that live in this park are autochthonous, that is, they only live in this part of the world. It is important to understand the importance of biodiversity and appreciate the work of those that study how to conserve nature.
