JANE GOODALL
Jane Goodall was born in London, in 1934. She was fascinated by animals since a very early age. Later, at the age of twenty-three she travelled to Tanzania to study chimpanzees in the wild.
She is known for being an expert on wild chimpanzees and is recognised for her ground breaking discoveries about their behavior – she discovered that chimpanzees make tools, eat and hunt for meat, and have similar social behavior to humans – she completely transformed our understanding of our closest relative in the animal kingdom. Her story is fascinating.
Nowadays she contributes to environmental conservation by giving conferences all around the world. She is conviced that we, humans, must make important changes in our way of life to save our planet before it's too late.
This is a very interesting video about the life and work of this amazing lady.
Jane Goodall is a very inspiring lady with a very deep understanding of nature and the global functioning of planet Earth. I encourage you to read about her and to listen to her speeches. They will fill you with hope and postiveness to as how together we can regenerate the planet by taking action and changing some everyday habits and attitudes.
